Business Consulting
Real data first. Strategy second. Execution always.
Most business consulting fails at the execution step — not because the strategy is wrong, but because it was never built around what the operator can actually do on Monday morning. Our business consulting engagements start by collecting data from your real operations, defining the problem rather than treating the symptom, and producing a written analysis that ties every recommendation to an outcome you can measure. Solutions are scoped to your team's actual capacity, and reviews are built into the engagement so that decisions are tested as hypotheses, not defended as commitments. This is the same Analyse–Execute–Review discipline we developed across two-plus years of advising startups and small businesses through Growth Strategy Lab in Australia, and now apply to F&B, retail, and service-sector clients in Korea.
Software Development
Operator-led tools that replace Excel chaos with one source of truth.
Most small and mid-sized businesses run on a stack of Excel files that drift, duplicate, and eventually leak margin at the reconciliation step. Enterprise ERPs solve part of the problem but are priced and structured for businesses ten times the size. We build the missing middle — single-purpose internal applications scoped tightly around the five decisions a team actually makes every week. Engagements cover requirements definition, data modelling, system design, and implementation, and the architecture is deliberately minimal so that the client team can maintain it without a dedicated IT department. Recent builds include the Husk Master Planner for interior contractors (cascading construction-method master → estimates, purchase orders, labour, settlement) and RoasteryFlow for specialty coffee roasters (orders, production, raw materials, regulatory documents in one workflow).
AI / AX Automation
AI that attaches to the work you already do.
AI pilots fail when they are bolted onto a process nobody has defined. We start from the operational bottleneck, not the model — then automate the specific step that is costing you time. Current builds include an agent that reads field conversations and turns them into ranked decisions for the owner, and marketing and design studios that generate channel content and brand assets in-house instead of through an agency. Engagements cover automation scoping, build, and handover, under the same rule as every other system we ship: your team must be able to run it without us.
Marketing Consulting
Marketing tied to business outcomes, not to budget lines.
Marketing spend drifts when it is untethered from the business outcome it is supposed to produce. Our marketing consulting engagements rebuild that tether — clarifying positioning before content is produced, sequencing channels by funnel stage rather than repeating the same message everywhere, and pairing awareness activity with a clear conversion destination so every won spent has a job. Engagements draw on a decade of building specialty coffee brands in Sydney and Seoul, plus the specific discipline of running marketing as a category inside a multi-product retail business. We work as fractional marketing leadership for market-entry phases, or as project-based advisors for brands that already have a team but need the outside perspective.
Website Development
Websites built as business assets, not as portfolios.
A website is not a brochure — it is the front office of the business. We build sites that reflect the brand precisely, load fast, and convert visitors into customers, wholesale leads, or qualified inquiries. Every project starts with the question of what the site needs to do for the business, then works backward into structure, content, and design. Engagements typically include brand-aligned UI/UX design, content architecture, SEO and AIEO foundations (including llms.txt and per-page metadata), and platform selection — Shopify for commerce, Squarespace for portfolio and content sites, or custom Next.js builds for sites that need to behave like products. We deliver sites that the in-house team can actually maintain after handover, not ones that lock the client into the agency.
Project Management Outsourcing
End-to-end project ownership, from scope to delivery.
Some projects do not need another consultant — they need someone to own the project end-to-end and ship it. We take on project management as an outsourced function for clients who have the strategy but lack the bandwidth to execute, or who need an external owner to coordinate across vendors, internal teams, and partners. Engagements cover scope definition, vendor selection and contracting, timeline and budget management, cross-team coordination, QA, and delivery. The model works particularly well for limited-edition launches, multi-party collaborations, market-entry projects, and operational consolidations that touch several departments at once.
F&B Consulting
Specialty coffee and F&B advisory from someone who has actually run them.
F&B consulting is full of advisors who have never opened a store, hired a barista, costed a blend, or written a wholesale invoice. Our F&B consulting starts from the opposite position — sixteen-plus years inside specialty coffee as barista, roaster, and business owner across Sydney, Seoul, and Busan. Engagements cover brand and category positioning, product mix and pricing, roastery and café operations, wholesale channel build-out, multi-store consolidation, and market-entry strategy for international brands launching in Korea. The work is grounded in current operating reality — we run MTSPACE COFFEE and Normcore Coffee Korea today, not as a former credential. Recent work spans co-founding Normcore Coffee Australia, leading MTS Solutions as a multi-entity specialty coffee group in Korea, and category-entry projects for international brands.
